Woobie Wear, Inc. is proud to be a strong supporter
of our community, including business partnerships with local nonprofit agencies
and donations to charitable organizations and healthcare foundations since our
founding in 2006.
Through my husband's eight year role at NISH , a
central nonprofit agency working to create employment opportunities for people
with severe disabilities through the Federal AbilityOne program, we have found a
way to help develop human potential through our unique approach to supplier
diversity.
We currently work with St. Coletta's of Illinois
Foundation, www.stcolettail.org, for the production of several of our product
lines, helping to support their mission of providing choices and opportunities
for persons with developmental disabilities.

Woobie Wear has also partnered with several other
local nonprofit agencies which work to create employment opportunities for
people with severe disabilities.

The PMC supports the innovative work of doctors, nurses, and
scientists at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and their search for cures for
cancers and related diseases.

awareness center. They offer activities, resources, educational programs and
support for individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the
community. Woobie Wear provided all the hair accessories for a fund-raising
fashion show in November 2009.
