Everyone always asks...
Well, after graduating from Purdue
University in 1995, moving to and from Orlando, Florida, my
husband and I landed in Chicago in 1999. In 2004, after being a
workaholic for a busy Property Management Company, our daughter Lauren
Jessica came into the world on April 23, 2004 ~ our proudest
moment! I decided to be a stay-at-home mom and raise my
daughter. |

Of course, as time went by, I was “itching” to work again, but
did not want to go back in the corporate workforce, so utilizing
my creative side, I began to make little newborn bows and
headbands for Lauren, her friends, and to give as gifts. Shortly
thereafter, it grew from little bows to bigger bows and more
people wanting them!
I began expanding again into making
flower headbands, but instead of the flower being glued on, I
put everything on a clip so it could be removed and
interchanged. The clips can be worn
alone, on headbands, hats and outfits! Very long-lasting, fun and
versatile! Plus, the hats, by adding the
adjustable/removable ribbon, can be worn from newborn through
age 10! What product for children has such a lifespan?!
WOOBIE WEAR does!
So, finally in 2006, I was tired of
hearing, “you should sell these", so I did and it was a
hit! I started out doing craft fairs and then branched into
online and local boutiques. Woobie Wear is all boutique-style
accessories that your little angel must have!
I strive to make a fun, unique,
versatile product that mom’s and babies will love! I stand
behind the quality of WW 100% and if you are ever unsatisfied,
please contact us immediately.
In May '08, my son, Andrew James joined the world! Woobie Wear gives me the flexibility to be a
stay-at-home mom and fulfill my need to work! Lauren was my
inspiration and always will be the heart of Woobie Wear.
Thank you,
